ABC CS series
The ABC CS series sensors are designed for remote applications and quick easy installation. These are a very versatile unit because of their smaller size and have many energy saving uses. They are designed to monitor a power circuit and trigger a secondary power circuit when current is detected they are supplied with 10 Amp output contacts.
The CS series are great for situations that don't need a run-on timer. For this reason they are the perfect solution for ease of use in range hood installations that need a makeup air booster fan. There is no need to make any changes to the appliance - the CS1 simply monitors the current used in the power supply and runs the booster fan whenever the rangehood is used.

ABC FR series
The ABC-FR is an Australian designed and made product used to monitor a 240VAC fan such as a range hood or lighting circuit such as toilet lights (non contact) and bring on another fan or operate a drive open/drive closed damper for air flow.
When current is detected, the ABC FR unit will turn on an on-board relay and when the circuit being monitored is turned off, a built in adjustable run on timer will keep the output relay energized for up to 10 minutes. The output relay can be used to control up to 8 Amps at 240VAC.

ABC FRA1A
The ABC FRA1A has been specifically designed for controlling range hood booster fans, simply install in the cupboard above the range hood, pre-wire the booster fan to this location, connect to the FRA1A, plug the range hood into the FRA1A and the FRA1A into the GPO and you are ready to go. Whenever the range hood is turned on the booster fan will run, choose the model with an adjustable 10 minute run on timer or without.
